Aswan and Luxor are the best area to get cheap fare for hotel. These areas have more than enough choices on hotel so you can compare the price to get the best one. You can also stay in downtown area of Cairo or other area that close to it since you will be able to cut off expenses on transportation to visit Islamic Cairo, Egyptian museum, khan el-Khalili Bazaar. 3. Transportation
You have to prepare more money in a small Egyptian notes. This is important since you will need to pay it in advance if you are riding taxi or buying something since most of the driver and shop claims not to have changes for big money. 4. Meal
